A first language (also native language, mother tongue, arterial language, or L1) is the language(s) a person has learned from birth or within the critical period, or that a person speaks the best and so is often the basis for sociolinguistic identity. In some countries, the terms native language or mother tongue refer to the language of one's ethnic group rather than one's first language. Sometimes, there can be more than one mother tongue, when the child's parents speak different languages. Those children are usually called bilingual. Sometimes the term native language is used to indicate a language that a person is as proficient in as a native individual of that language's "base country", or as proficient as the average person who speaks no other language but that language. The first language of a child is part of their personal, social and cultural identity. Another impact of the first language is that it brings about the reflection and learning of successful social patterns of acting and speaking. It is basically responsible for differentiating the linguistic competence of acting. To a person his mother tongue is a “blessing in disguise”. It is not merely a time-table subject in his education but is forced upon him from all sides.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities
"Equal rights, equal opportunities: Progress for all" re-emphasizes that equal rights and opportunities lead to improved health outcomes for women and girls.
Discrimination towards women and girls, or what is known as gender-based discrimination, is one of the most pervasive human rights violations. It severely limits the ability of women, girls and the communities they live in to protect and promote their health. Gender-based discrimination is irrevocably connected to negative health outcomes for women and girls. Its associated poor health outcomes are often compounded by other forms of inequality related to socioeconomic status, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation or geographical location. While these challenges are imposing, and often encoded in "normalized" ways of living, International Women's Day renews our commitment to denounce violations in human rights and to challenge unequal systems, structures and practices that perpetuate health inequalities across the world.

Responding to Climate Change
Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions or the distribution of events around that average. Climate change may be limited to a specific region or may occur across the whole Earth.
Natural changes in the components of earth's climate system and their interactions are the cause of internal climate variability, or "internal forcings." Scientists generally define the five components of earth's climate system to include Atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, lithosphere , and biosphere. The sun is the predominant source for energy input to the Earth. Both long- and short-term variations in solar intensity are known to affect global climate.

CHEMERGY: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy
Almost everything in this material world is product of technology with the relation of Chemistry and Science. Chemistry is everywhere. It is all around us. In our everyday lives, almost everything we use is made of materials produced through chemical processes, from the toothpaste we use every morning to the clothes we wear.
Chemistry is a branch of science that deals with the study of matter, its structures, compositions, properties and the changes it undergoes. Chemistry with the help of science which is a systematized body of knowledge, can be a good factor or instrument to improve our quality of living, and to help save our mother Earth. With the joined forces of Chemistry and Science Club, chemists will surely gain more power to make much effective chemicals for medicines, less toxic materials for food production, high quality synthetic materials for industries ,and other related things we usually use in our daily lives. Chemistry plays an important role in our lives. It make our life less tiring, enjoyable, and comfortable.

"My Teacher , My Hero"
Principled Teacher: A Guide For the Modern World
Teacher is the person who shapes the future of any human being. Teachers are the people who hold the candle of enlightenment. knowledge , and prosperity. Any nation who doesn't respect its candle bearers can never prosper and will always remain in darkness. Education makes us humans and enable us to feel the potential of ourselves which we all carry in our minds. All tribute of it goes to teachers who enable every human to discover this potential. Teachers are like bright candle who shows us the right path , else everyone will be wandering in the world of darkness.
These days, students are becoming much more dependent upon computers for learning. In a way, this is not good because computers can not teach us the practical experience in life. To succeed in life, we should not only have knowledge of science, we must also have practical knowledge of life. When students hear something from their teachers, they can ask further questions to clarify themselves. This creates a friendly environment that machines can never give. Teacher are also intellectual parents and friends

My Modern Hero
My Hero in the Modern World
All of us have special person who we consider as our hero. Heroes are not just those people who bravely fought with the Spaniards for the freedom of our country during the Spanish era. A hero is not necessary brave or a person with super powers,a person can be a hero as long as he/she sacrifices and make efforts for his/her special someone.
I consider my father as my hero. Even though he don't posses super natural powers or a shining armor, I consider him one because his love and sacrifices to give me a better life and education is more than enough. He also stood as mother and father for us. I used to disobey him but he never scolded me. He is so patient that sometimes I felt guilty for my stubbornness. He is also my crying shoulders. When problems came across my way, he always give me advises. Many have said that I am a daddy's girl and my mother used to argue with my father when it comes in disciplining me. My mother say that I grew up dependent and stubborn because my father is always protecting me. I don't care of what they say because I know in my heart that my father did all of this for me because he loves me and I am doing my best not to disappoint him.

"The SONA of President Benigno Aquino lll"
The State of the Nation Address is an annual event in the republic of the Philippines in which the President of the Philippines reports on the status of the nation , normally to the resumption of a joint session of the Congress.
"There is no justice, without reconciliation".. We have heard this from President Benigno Aquino lll in his early days of his terms. He also said that we are his boss and there would be no poverty, if there is no corruption. His nice and some how flowery statements make us believe that it is still possible for this country to make some change and be a progressive one. And so, last July 25,2011 , we have witnessed the first State of the Nation Address of President Aquino. In his SONA , he discussed about the problems of our country, our economy, the using of 'wang-wang' , RH Bill, Divorce Bill, and many other things or topics related to our country. For me, he should not only discuss about this things. The important thing a leader must do is find ways on how to cope up with the problems of the country he is holding or ruling. I'm afraid to know and accept thst our president is only good in words. Yes, we are not yet experiencing corruption, but we are still suffering from poverty and the progression of our country is slow like a baby taking its baby-steps The SONA of our president is only an overview of what the President will do to our country, to make it a progressive, more productive and powerful country. I only hoped that our President will do all that he promised and declared in his SONA , and our country will become succassful in this coming years..

"ISULONG ANG BREASTFEEDING TAMA, SAPAT AT EKSKLUSIBO"
Breastfeeding is very important and good for babies. It is the healthiest and most nutritious milk a mother could give to her child. Infants can get more essential vitamins and minerals like colostrum from the milk of their mothers than the milk bought in the market. Colostrum is the first flow of milk from the breast of a mother right after her delivery. It is highly nutritious and good to infants. Because it has different essential nutrient like protein and calcium that helps to boost the immune system of babies. we have seen or heard many milk substitute that were endorsed using media. This milk is not naturally processed because it undergoes different stages in different machines and it is made up of preservatives and chemicals. Mostly , milk substitutes were taken from cow's milk. We should know that cow's milk is for its calf and dog's milk is for its puppy. Our cute babies are not animals , therefore infants must be fed by the breast-milk of its own mother. They said that commercial milk has also essential nutrients and minerals for babies but there's no milk in the world that could beat the breast-milk of our ever loving mothers. Some milk that were commercially aired on televisions and radios were made to enhance the IQ level of infants and children but would probably cost high. Not all mothers can afford buying these such milk products. If we are observant , we could see that breast fed children is active, has alert of mind , healthy metabolism , and not prone to viruses that can cause diseases. Breastfeeding , on the other hand , aside from nutritious, is very affordable. It could only be taken from a mother's milk ; mothers who have selfless love...
